I love trying out new foods and experimenting with new and exciting kitchen hacks. Since sampling new vegan products is one of my favorite pastimes, I was delighted to choose three vegan companies to write about whose products I have tested and enjoyed, AND to offer you, our readers, a giveaway of these vegan-friendly treats, so you can try them as well!

In today’s giveaway party we have:

  • Bandar Foods’ Indian sauces and chips
  • Lentilicious’ meal packets
  • and Kitchezen’s nut milk bag

Bandar Foods’ Indian sauces and chips

I am in LOVE with Indian food. The flavors, the smells, the spices and the fact that it is very vegan-friendly just make me jump for joy, so when I was offered a chance to sample some Bandar foods, I may or may not have pushed over my fellow writers for the chance #sorrynotsorry.

Besides five different types of sauces, Bandar also makes several varieties of chips. I sampled the Mint Cilantro, Spicy Mango, and Tangy Tamarind sauces,as well as the Garlic and Tikka Masala Naan Chips, Crisped Harvest Vegetables, and Lentil Cumin flavor chips to try.

My favorite of their products were the naan chips and the various chutneys. After sharing the garlic naan chips with my five-year-old son, he then gave me two chips and claimed the rest as “mine”! The garlic chips also tasted exactly like the garlic naan in one of my favorite Indian restaurants. Both the garlic and the tikka masala flavors were perfectly seasoned chips that would be great with Bandar’s chutneys, alongside your favorite sandwich, or with your favorite soup.

In terms of the sauces, to say that I loved the mint and mango sauces would be an understatement. I adored their flavor and the fact that they had just the right about of spice. Enough to make my mouth burn, but not so spicy as to take away from the flavor or food. Like in my review of Nutpods, I had every intention of taking these to my day job to share with colleagues, but after the first try I decided that these were all mine! They tasted that good. I have literally spent every day since I received them trying to think of other things that I could eat them with. Sandwiches, chips, veggies, in my soup, tofu scramble, popcorn, burritos; they pretty much go with anything!

Lentilicious’ meal packets

On the same note of yummy Indian food, Lentilicious is perfect for a cook like me who loves the taste and health value of lentils, but just cannot get them to taste restaurant quality.

The Lentilicious’ meal packets offer pre-seasoned lentils. All you have to do is add water, boil, and enjoy. They make it so foolproof that the bag is even marked at one cup just in case you don’t have a measuring cup for adding the water. I made these along with a simple side of rice, but you can mix these up however you like. If you need some inspiration, their website offers a whole section of vegan food ideas (though please note that although the Lentilicious product is vegan not all of their food ideas are).

Currently they offer Coconut Fusion with Cardamom, Red Chili, and Mediterranean flavors and I was able to try them all (yes it’s a tough job but someone has to do it)! If you want to know what my favorites were I’m afraid I couldn’t tell you -they each offer a different and satisfying taste. I am all about coconut in anything but I also like a little spice. Needless to say, they have something for whatever taste you are looking for.

Kitchezen’s nut milk bag

This last product allowed me to try something that I have never tried before, and that is to make my own almond milk. Nutnet is a high quality nut milk bag from Kitchenzen, that is reusable, durable and simple to use. I just soaked my almonds overnight, blended them with four cups of filtered water and then strained them using the nutbag. The best part: no nut “meat” in your milk because it drains so well!

This is my new favorite kitchen item. You never fully realize how many extras go into commercial milks until you make your own, and I love being able to decide EXACTLY what will go into my homemade vegan milk, using this nutbag.
