When it comes to fashion, vegans don’t have to compromise on style to be cruelty free, and this goes for men, as well as women!
The following vegan shoe brands recognize that men can love animals and still wear a stylish pair of shoes.
Here’s my guide to some of the hottest vegan shoes for men out there.
Happy shopping!
1. Alternative Outfitters
Alternative Outfitters is an online, award winning, vegan boutique that carries a range of gorgeous styles for men. They ship across the United States as well as internationally, and carry shoes that are super affordable, while highly fashionable.
For the man who is just starting his vegan journey and looking to switch to a cruelty-free shoe option, I would suggest the Deer Stags Zooms in black – these stylish basic oxfords will be perfect with a suit or dark jeans for a night out.

2. Wills Vegan Shoes
Wills Vegan Shoes was started by Will Green who wanted to “provide animal and human friendly shoes with high-street styles and prices” and he is certainly doing just that!
I cannot get enough of his line, including the Faux Suede Derbys which are made from microfiber upper that is water resistant, breathable and durable.
Wills Vegan Shoes are carried in some stores, but the whole selection is available online with international shipping and free returns and exchanges in the USA, Europe and Canada. For USA customers they also offer a free(!) and fast delivery of only 2-3 days.

3. Vegan Chic
Mark and Vessela, the owners of Vegan Chic, are focused on bringing vegan fashion to the mainstream, and they are doing a great job with their line of high quality men’s shoes.
Their online store ships worldwide and offers a wide variety of styles from flip flops and sandals to casual, slips on, boots and dress shoes.
I love these Marcos Light Mens Sneaker by MOVMT for a more casual look.
Price range: $6-$300

4. Moo Shoes
When I made the switch to my vegan lifestyle, Moo Shoes was one of the first stores that I heard of that sold fashionable vegan shoes. This store was founded in 2001 by sisters Erica and Sara Kubersky. It carries a variety of brands, including their house brand, Vovacas.
For men they offer styles from boots to sneakers, and oxfords to sandals. My current favorite style is the Tom Brown from Novacas. Classic, stylish, and vegan are my three favorite words and this shoe embodies all of them.
The Moo Shoes store is based in New York City (it was actually the first cruelty-free store of its kind in NYC), but if you are unable to shop there, they also ship in the United States as well as internationally.
Price range: $30-$300
5. Vegetarian Shoes
Vegetarian Shoes is an award winning shoe brand that was founded in 1990 by Robin Webb (who, when first starting out, used to hand make all of his shoes!). The brand is based in the UK, with a shop in East Sussex, but for those of us who are not lucky enough to live close by, they offer international shipping, and their brand is also carried out on several online vegan shops (like Moo Shoes, mentioned above).
Living in the “wonderful” Chicago weather, I can’t help but truly appreciate the water resistant Timbercat Boot in Black. The bonus of this boot is that it is part of Vegetarian Shoes’ mens/unisex range, so if you and your man happen to wear the same size, this boot can serve you in a double-duty!
Price range: £30-£160
These companies lead the way in ensuring that when men make the change to a cruelty-free diet, their fashion can make the change with them.
We are delighted to award these top 5 brands with The Vegan Woman’s recommendation label.
